At Simonsen Vogt Wiig, you can start your career already as a student. We have several options for law students that provide practical experience and insight into the everyday life of a commercial lawyer. You will gain relevant work experience and the opportunity to develop both professionally and personally.
Our trainee programme
The trainee programme at Simonsen Vogt Wiig will give you an insight into what it is like to work as an associate with us. Our trainees become involved in cases within several practice and industry areas. The tasks may consist, among other things, of drafting writs of summons, notices of defence and other pleadings, as well as participating in company reviews, work meetings, client meetings and court cases. During your traineeship you also become a natural part of our social gatherings and events.
A traineeship with us lasts 4-5 weeks. In Oslo and Bergen, we offer positions throughout the year. At our other offices, we offer traineeships depending on capacity. In order for you to get the most out of your stay, we want you to have completed your 3rd year of study when you start as a trainee.
