Are you our new Junior Payroll Advisor? 
We are looking for a Junior Payroll Advisor in Riga to support our payroll operations across Nordic countries by ensuring accurate data handling, system usage, and payroll input processes. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, is eager to learn and grow within the payroll field, and maintains a structured and organized way of working. You communicate clearly, enjoy collaborating with others, and bring a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset to your daily tasks. You are also comfortable working in a fast‑paced, international environment where priorities can shift and continuous improvement is encouraged.

In this role you will be responsible for:  

  • Support payroll processing activities for assigned countries
  • Prepare and validate payroll input data in payroll systems (including SAP EC Payroll)
  • Perform quality checks and support control processes
  • Maintain and update payroll data in systems and tools
  • Handle payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
  • Contribute to system improvements, automation, and digitalization initiatives
  • Work closely with senior team members and stakeholders across HR and Finance
  • Handle absence and reimbursement claims from NAV
  • Altinn abence process and reporting
  • Union deductions, lists and communication about admin tasks from Unions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and local regulations 

 

You are our ideal candidate if:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)  
  • 1–3 years of experience in payroll, HR administration, or similar (preferred but not required) 
  • Strong digital skills and interest in working with systems and tools  
  • Experience with payroll systems (SAP, ECP, or similar) is an advantage  
  • Interest in Nordic payroll processes is a plus  
  • Good Excel skills  
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
